First Time Users
Welcome to EzyDVD! We believe you'll find our site to be one of the most exciting DVD sites around. If it's selection you're looking for, we've got it. In fact we're proud to say that not only do we have the largest selection in Australia, but most stock is always available for instant dispatch.
If you wish to place an order or receive our newsletter you will need to register online. To do this you simply click on the Register button and follow the prompts carefully. Once you have finished the initial stages of registering you will receive an email from us with an account activation link that must be followed to continue your registration. You will then be required to enter your address and contact details prior to completion.
Finding What You Want
Use our QuickSearch on the left of every page to search for DVDs by title, actor or director. Alternatively, you can click on Power Search for more extensive query options such as searching by language, audio, price and more.
Making A Purchase
When you have selected the item you wish to purchase, simply click on 'Add to Basket' and the item will be dropped into your shopping cart. You have the ability to add or delete products from your shopping basket before completing your purchase should you need to. To delete an item from your basket, ensure that the item's check box has been ticked and click the 'Delete Checked' button.
When you are ready to place your order, simply click the 'Proceed To Checkout' button on the Shopping Basket page to begin the ordering process. After you have reviewed your delivery details, click 'Proceed To Credit Card Details', and enter the required information. To submit your order, click the 'Place Your Order' button.
If you do not wish to place your order online, you can opt to place your order
Offline. To do this, you can print an Order form and mail or fax it to EzyDVD with your payment details. Alternatively you can call us on our toll free number 1300 666 072.
Ordering by PayPal
EzyDVD now accepts orders by PayPal!
To place an order using your PayPal account, add items to your EzyDVD Shopping Basket as normal then click the 'Checkout with PayPal' button on the basket page when you're ready. Note: If you wish to use an existing EzyDVD account, please ensure you log on prior to checkout, otherwise we will automatically create a profile for you with address and contact information captured from your PayPal account.
During the checkout process you will be asked to enter your PayPal login and review/alter your delivery address before returning to EzyDVD, selecting a dispatch option and then placing your order.
When do we charge your PayPal account?
Similar to a standard credit card order, EzyDVD will only transfer funds from your PayPal account when we process and dispatch your order.
However, when you first submit your EzyDVD order, PayPal will store a payment authorization (rounded up to the nearest dollar) that is likely to be listed as 'Original Order' on your account. No funds have been transferred at this point, this is simply a reference advising that you have an order pending.
It looks like I have been charged twice! What can I do?
Chances are that you're looking at the payment authorization as explained above. If you truly believe a double charge has occurred, simply contact our customer service department.
Please Note: Customers must have matching shipping address and country of residence defined in their PayPal profiles.
Wish List
EzyDVD has implemented a 'Wish List' function that can be used on items in your Shopping Basket. To keep DVDs in your basket for future purchase you may hold onto them by removing the tick from the check-box and clicking 'Update Selected'. These DVDs will now remain in your basket until you choose to remove them and will appear in your basket whenever you are logged on.
To select them for an order, simply reverse the process by ticking their corresponding check-boxes and clicking 'Update Selected'. The updated items will now be included with your next order.
Website Security
Your EzyDVD online shopping experience is safe and secure thanks to the use of the SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer). SSL uses 128 bit encryption to protect your personal information from being intercepted by an unauthorised party and is the standard used by all reputable e-commerce sites.
Additionally, we use eWAY to guarantee the best possible security for our online transactions. eWAY has multiple firewalls to protect important data and features 1024 bit data encryption. No credit card information is stored on either eWAY's clustered web server's or EzyDVD's web servers.
Due to a growing amount of internet fraud through stolen or invalid credit card numbers, EzyDVD has found it necessary to implement stricter security measures in an effort to reduce the risk of credit card misuse. This will help safeguard ourselves and you, our customer, against any criminal activity. Some users of our site may be asked for credit card verification. You will be contacted via email should we require this information from you.
Please note that since we began trading we have not experienced one instance of credit card fraud resulting from information given to us.
Confidentiality
All personal information is treated in the strictest and most confidential manner. We do not sell or give out your name, e-mail, address or any other personal information. All orders are handled without compromise to your privacy.
Returns Policy
We are happy to credit or exchange any unopened DVDs within 14 days, provided we receive the goods in PRISTINE condition. Returns will be approved at our discretion and all postage costs are to be incurred by the customer. If the disc is damaged upon receipt, we will be unable to accept the goods and they will be returned to you.
Please email Returns with notification of the items and reason for the return and we will respond with instructions on how to proceed.
Should you be unlucky enough to receive a faulty or damaged disc, please check here first for a possible solution. If the problem persists, please email Returns with your specific problem and we'll get back to you promptly.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel your orders online at any time by Logging On to the website with your username and password and proceeding to the User Options page. Contained within is a link to 'Orders Pending' where you can alter your dispatch method, delete items from your order or delete your order altogether.
For offline orders please email Cancellations or alternatively call us on (08) 8301 8900. It is imperative that you allow 48 hours notice prior to shipping to guarantee offline order cancellations.
EzyDVD Newsletter
To join our mailing list and receive the latest DVD news, notices of new releases and other offers, you need to register on our site. Click Here to register if you haven't already. You will automatically be added to our list to receive a HTML formatted version of our newsletter. If you prefer to receive the text formatted version simply log on to the site using your registered username & password and then click the 'Options' button to change your selection.
